Dinanagar, May 29: Underscoring the huge role of Babasaheb Dr B R Ambedkar in shaping the democratic framework of the world’s largest democracy, Senior BJP leader Devender Singh Rana Wednesday emphasized the importance of safeguarding the Constitution as the bedrock of India’s democratic and inclusive society.
“Being proud citizens of vibrant and forward looking India under the leadership of Prime Minister Yashasvi Narendra Modi our commitment stands unwavering to uphold and protect the Constitution bequeathed by Babasaheb for posterity,” Devender Rana said while addressing a series of meetings of Booth Incharges in different blocks of Dinanagar assembly constituency along with DDC Vice Chairman Jammu Mr. Suraj Singh in support of the BJP candidate Dinesh Singh Babbu from Gurdaspur Lok Sabha Constituency in Punjab.
He said the nation will always remain indebted to the architect of the Constitution for his monumental contribution and cautioned against any attempt by the opposition INDI Alliance to dilute its spirit by trampling with the rights of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes. He said the BJP has always been and will continue to be a staunch defender of the Constitution, which , inter-alia, takes care of the interests of the marginalized segments of the society.
“We the foot soldiers of the BJP under the leadership of Modiji are committed to preserving the values of justice, equality, and liberty that Dr. Ambedkar enshrined in our Constitution”, Devender Rana said and enumerated the initiatives undertaken by the government to promote social justice and empowerment, reflecting the core values championed by Dr. Ambedkar.
Lashing out at the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for their divisive politics, Mr Rana said the fake narratives of the two parties reflect their sheer desperation over losing ground across the country. The anarchist tendencies of the AAP and the divisive politics of the Congress have caused much harm to the national psyche in general and Punjab in particular.
“The nation is still grappling with the historic blunders of the Congress both in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir has been the worst victim and sufferer of its wrong policies”, Rana said, adding that the so-called grand old party is reaping the fruits of its negative politics and facing political turmoil due to historic blunders. He said the time has come to make India Congress Mukht, fulfilling the dream of Mahatma Gandhi, who had wished closure of this enterprise immediately after the independence. He exuded confidence that the nationalistic and pragmatic policies of the BJP will lead to annihilation of the Congress in the national politics.
Seeking vote and support for Dinesh Singh Babbu, Devender Rana said this will further strengthen the hands of the Yashasvi Prime Minister, who has initiated path breaking steps to transform the nation and make it the world leader. The place the country enjoys in the comity of nations makes every Indian proud and hopeful that this century is going to that of India, the Vishswaguru. The nation becoming third economic power of the world in the third term of the Yashasvi Prime Minister and Viksit Bharat by 2047 as per the agenda of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas is going to be the global success story of this century, he asserted.
