From charity to community power: Why 2.5 per cent giving model deserves serious adoption

While clicking the pictures to challan the traffic norm violations have eased the burden of the men in blue on the roads, but what needs to be pondered is that the minors driving the vehicles are getting easy access nowadays to ply on the roads without any fear of getting interrupted by the authorities concerned for defying the norms. In the busiest places as well as other adjacent areas, the minor boys and girls have been seen riding the two-wheelers while carrying the pillion on it that too without wearing the crash helmets. The issue might have caught on the cameras of the men in blue for challaning the norm violations, but what needs to be understood is who is going to stop them from riding the two-wheelers in this young age as their immature way of riding the vehicles could lead to the fatal accidents as well. It has been seen that many people, involved in rash driving and especially those without the crash helmets, lost their lives while riding the two-wheelers and subsequently prompting the concerned Traffic Police to launch drives against such offenders. However, the situation has not changed on the ground as nobody could be seen stopping such minors from riding the two-wheelers for their wellbeing. Nonetheless, besides an ease in curbing the norm violations or fining the people by clicking pictures, there is a dire need to stop the minors from riding the two-wheelers in every nook and corner so that the possible fatal accidents could be prevented well on time.
