Srinagar, Jul 5: As the political landscape in Jammu and Kashmir heats up ahead of the assembly elections, the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) is intensifying its campaign efforts.
On Friday, Apni Party chief Altaf Bukhari convened a meeting with party leaders in Jammu to strategize for the upcoming elections. He called on the party’s leaders to actively engage in the election campaign and strengthen their outreach to the public.
During the provincial-level meeting at the party office in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, Bukhari emphasized the importance of accelerating the public relations program.
He urged leaders to inform the public about the party’s policies on equal development and welfare programs.
Bukhari instructed party leaders to hold regular meetings with residents in all areas, ensuring that the campaign reaches every corner of the region. He also called for regular review meetings to monitor progress and push the campaign forward. Additionally, Bukhari stressed the need to advocate for all sections of society, particularly the economically weaker sections.
The meeting also included a review of the Apni Party’s performance in the recently concluded 2024 Lok Sabha elections. State General Secretary Vijay Bakaya, Provincial President Jammu Manjit Singh, and other senior leaders from across the region, along with district presidents and frontal heads, attended the meeting.
