Srinagar, Jul 30: Divisional Commissioner V.K. Bidhuri Tuesday announced that there will be no restrictions for the August 15 celebrations at Bakshi Stadium this year.
“Everyone is welcome to attend,” the Div Com said while speaking to reporters at Srinagar.
He extended an open invitation to the public, encouraging them to join the Independence Day function at Bakshi Stadium.
He assured that a valid ID card will be sufficient for entry and emphasized that public movement will not be restricted during the event.
Bidhuri also said that internet and other services will operate normally on Independence Day, with enhanced security measures in place to ensure the safety of all attendees. (KNS)
