Jammu, Aug 3: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh who is also the party incharge for J&K, today said here that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ushered in a new era for the people of reserved classes by abrogation of Article 370.
Tarun Chugh accompanied by Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, General Secretary, J&K BJP & former Minister, Sanjay Nirmal, National General Secretary SC Morcha, Neelam Langeh, President, BJP SC Morcha & former MLA also addressed the meeting of SC Morcha leaders at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Addressing media persons, Tarun Chugh, said it has been a historic feat for J&K after the abrogation of the Article 370 whereby the dream of Baba Ambedkar was realized in J&K.
Launching a scathing attack on Muftis, Abdullahs and Gandhis, Chugh said that it was a criminal conspiracy of them all to keep the people of J&K deprived of the benefits of the Constitutional provisions.
He said the Modi government has given a new hope and vision to the J&K people and a new era of growth and development has come about here.
Chugh said all negative forces including those of the cross border would be defeated decisively to help people of J&K grow and prosper in the Modi era.
Chugh also asked the SC Morcha leaders to aware the people of the grave injustices that Congress, NC, and PDP did their communities for 70 years.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, speaking on the occasion summarized the historic decisions that benefitted the SC communities particularly after the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35 (a). He said that the earlier ruling governments of Congress, NC, and PDP befooled the communities like displaced, refugees, Valmikis, Gorkhas, women etc of Jammu & Kashmir and the SC community was one of the major sufferers of those black deeds by those governments.
Sanjay Nirmal, asked the Morcha activists to work extra hours till the next elections. He also threw light on forthcoming Morcha programmes, and asked the Morcha leaders to organize them within the community.
Neelam Langeh enumerated the various organizational and development activities undertaken by the Morcha leaders. He assured the senior leadership of party that the SC community of Jammu & Kashmir will vote enmass in the favour of BJP in upcoming Assembly elections.
