Keep Kashmir connected

With the efforts going on to bring more and more tourists to Jammu and Kashmir, multiple events and festivals are being organized throughout the Union Territory to attract the visitors to the destinations. Gurez, Warwan, Bhaderwah festivals are among the series of events that have taken place in Jammu and Kashmir amidst the rise in the tourist footfall. Such events are helping the people associated with the tourism sector to earn their livelihood. But, since Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, has been witnessing the end number of tourists on a regular basis, the concerned department needs to take elaborate measures in this regard and celebrate the occasion with zeal and zest. It is the time when the tourism department as well as the administration needs to organize the events like Srinagar carnival here at the newly designed tourist spots so that the people coming to enjoy the picturesque places of Jammu and Kashmir will also visit the places redesigned under the Smart City Project. Organizing the carnivals would help the local traders to earn their livelihood and simultaneously will give a further boost to the tourism sector in the district as well. The department concerned as well as the people at the helm of affairs should take advantage of the moment and must take steps to attract more and more tourists to the Valley, especially to Srinagar, which houses the picturesque places including the Mughal Garden as well.
