Will form next govt in J&K: Raina

Jammu, Aug 16: Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Ravinder Raina Friday welcomed the announcement of schedule of assembly elections by the Election Commission of India.
In a statement, Raina said that they were eagerly waiting for this announcement since Lok Sabha Elections and BJP is fully prepared for the polls in Jammu and Kashmir.
“I am quite sure that the people of Jammu and Kashmir will support BJP wholeheartedly in assembly elections and we will form our own government in J&K. In the past 10 years, the Modi government, through relentless efforts and initiatives, has strengthened peace, prosperity and started a new era of development by strengthening democracy in J&K,” Raina said.
He said that the assembly election will further strengthen the roots of democracy, opening the door to a new period of development for J&K.
The J&K BJP Chief said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir shall actively participate in the election and vote in large numbers to form a government that will sustain peace and development and ensure a brighter future for the younger generation in the Jammu and Kashmir. (KNO)
