Keep Kashmir connected

With the government taking measures to reform the healthcare facilities in Jammu and Kashmir, the people at the helm need to understand that the necessary measures for the patients and the attendants are imperative to ensure that the common masses will not suffer at any cost. In one such instance, the government has shifted the Kashmir’s lone Children’s hospital from Sonawar to Bemina here, but unfortunately the major issues imperative for the patients and the attendants alike are missing on the ground, which pushes the people to the wall. The people are being deprived of the basic facility i.e the footbridge at the Children’s hospital at Bemina and in its absence, the people have been raising voices, claiming that there is every risk of accidents that could claim the lives of the people as well. However, the footbridge at the location is imperative to reduce the risk of accidents and it would help the attendants to move freely without any fear of accidents or any untoward incidents. The government needs to understand that such facilities are imperative to save the lives of people and also help them in crossing the busiest roads during day as well as the night hours. The time has come when the government, especially the concerned Health department should lay focus on it and ensure that the sufferings of people will be eased. The concerned agencies should work in a pace and ensure the footbridge is constructed at an earliest so that the people could heave a sigh of relief.
