Srinagar, Oct 18: A bullet-riddled body of a laborer hailing from Bihar was found at Waduna area of Zainapora in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday, officials said.
An official said that some passersby spotted the body at Waduna Melhoora area and informed the police accordingly.
He said that a police team reached the spot immediately and shifted the body to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The body was later identified as Ashok Chauhan of Bihar, who was working as a laborer in the area.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the matter and started investigation. (KNO)
