Kupwara, Aug 10: A minor was Tuesday injured after an old shell exploded while digging at Dewar Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official said that a 10-12-year-old boy identified as Adil Farooq Sofi son of Farooq Ahmad Sofi got injured due to the explosion of an old shell.
He said that the aforementioned boy received injuries while digging in the backyard of their house.
The official further said that the injured has received very minor injuries and has been shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) for treatment.
About the health condition of the injured the official said that he is stable and out of danger. (KNO)
