Srinagar, Dec 5: With winter setting in across the Kashmir valley, Srinagar’s markets are bustling with the excitement of seasonal sales.
From warm clothing to home appliances and other essentials, shops across the city are offering irresistible discounts, attracting large crowds eager to prepare for the chilly months ahead.
According to details available, many shops in the city have become hotspots for winter clearance offers, with shoppers flocking to stores showcasing a wide range of products, including essential home appliances.
To ease the financial burden, many retailers have introduced financing options, making it simpler for families to upgrade their homes in time for the biting cold.
Fazil, a local resident, said, “These sales are a blessing. With rising costs, getting good deals on items like heaters and blankets makes winter much more manageable.”
Another shopper, Bilal, said, “It’s not just about buying things. The lively vibe in the markets and the availability of almost every item make the sale amazing. Everyone is out looking for something to make the season cozier.”
Retailers are equally optimistic. A store owner in the city said, “The response has been overwhelming. People are showing great interest in the sales and the variety of options available, which has made this season both exciting and beneficial for us.”
Notably, for many residents in Srinagar, the winter sales are more than just a shopping spree. They are a cherished seasonal tradition, bringing warmth, joy, and a sense of community as the cold sets in, with all essentials conveniently available in one place.
