Rajouri, Dec 12: A suspected case of food poisoning claimed the life of a seven-year-old girl, leaving her two elder brothers critically ill in Rajouri district of Jammu on Thursday, officials said.
Reports said that the siblings, hailing from Badhal village in the Khawas area, were rushed to the Kotranka hospital after they developed complications due to alleged food poisoning.
The minor girl succumbed to her condition, while her brothers, aged 9 and 11, were transferred to the Government Medical College Jammu Hospital for advanced treatment.
Rajouri Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma visited the GMC hospital and assured the family of support and medical assistance. [KNT]
