Srinagar, Jan 1: Security forces on Wednesday claimed to have arrested four terrorist associates of proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad in Tral.
According to a statement, they have been identified as Mudasir Ahmad Naik, Umar Nazir Sheikh, Inayat Firdous Rather, and Salman Nazir Lone–all residents of Tral
The statement reads that incriminating material was also recovered from their possession. “They were involved in providing logistics support and transportation of arms & ammunition to the active terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammad in Tral and Awantipora areas,” it reads.
It added that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at police station Tral and further investigation is going on.
