Jammu, Jan 21: A mother and her child lost their lives in a cylinder explosion on Tuesday in the remote Jandrola area of Block Sathra in Tehsil Mandi of Poonch district.
An official said that a mother and her 6-month-old child lost their lives in a cylinder explosion in the remote Jandrola area.
Shazia Kousar, a 28-year old woman, wife of Sajad Hussain, was working in the kitchen when the gas cylinder suddenly exploded, leading to the on-the-spot deaths of both the mother and child, they said.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognizance of the incident while further investigations taken up. (KNO)
