Baramulla, Aug 23: Residents of Baghi Rehmat Colony, Kanli Bagh (Bowli) have appealed to the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla to sanction the macadamization of interior lanes of their colony. They have requested the authorities to get their links macadamised as soon as possible.
“R&B and Erstwhile Urban Drainage Department had undertaken a drainage project in the area that has been completed already in previous years. We have already apprised the concerned authorities time and again about the condition of inner lanes. We have been suffering from past 10 years for the want of macadamization, the residents said.
“The macadamisation must be started soon so that the inhabitants will be relieved of the difficulties caused during the wet weather conditions, they added.
