Jammu, Mar 1: The Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha has greeted the people on the beginning of holy month of Ramadhan.
In a message, the Lieutenant Governor said: “Best wishes on the commencement of the holy month of Ramzan. May this sacred month of prayers, blessings and forgiveness inspire us to work towards upliftment of the underprivileged with complete dedication and devotion. May this sacred month also strengthen mutual goodwill and encourage each one of us to follow the path of love and compassion”.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Saturday extended his greetings to the people as the holy month of Ramadhan commences.
In his felicitation message, he emphasized the importance of unity and compassion during this period of reflection.
He encouraged citizens to support one another and foster an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding.
“This spirit of togetherness will help build a stronger and more resilient community throughout Jammu & Kashmir,” he noted.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also prayed that Almighty may answer all prayers and accept our fasting for this sacred month.
He also prayed for peace, prosperity and the well-being of all the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“May Allah’s blessings be upon all. Ramzan Mubarak!” he added.
Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, Saturday greeted the people on the eve of Ramadan.
In a message, the Deputy Chief Minister expressed hope that the holy month will bring peace and prosperity to people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the month brings us closer to the Almighty through our prayers and fasting.
Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo has extended her heartfelt greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially Muslim Ummah on the commencement of Holy month of Ramadhan.
In her message, Sakeena Itoo emphasized on the spiritual significance of this sacred month. “Ramadhan is a time of reflection, patience as well as kindness. It teaches us to be grateful and helping hand to those in need”, Sakeena said.
The Minister urged the people of J&K to embrace the values of unity, generosity and empathy, which define the true spirit of Ramadhan. She called upon the Muslim community to support the underprivileged and needy during this holy month.
Sakeena Itoo also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of entire Jammu and Kashmir.
Minister for Jal Shakti, Javed Ahmed Rana has extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Ramadhan.
In his message, Rana expressed warm greetings and prayed that this holy month brings peace, prosperity and happiness to all.
“May Allah (SWT) shower His blessings upon us, guide us on the path of righteousness and grant us the strength to overcome challenges. May this Ramadan bring us closer to Almighty and to each other, filling our hearts with love, kindness and generosity”, he prayed.
