Jammu, Mar 3: The cabinet headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday discussed J&K Budget 2025-26.
Sources said that the cabinet which met here this evening discussed the Budget which would be presented in the Assembly on March 7.
“The Finance secretary briefed the cabinet about budget proposals and figures,” sources said, adding that financial situation of J&K was also discussed threadbare during the meeting.
They said that the budget would now go to Lieutenant Governor for approval. It is worthwhile to mention that it would be for the first time that Chief Minister would present budget of J&K in the Assembly.
Sources said that the cabinet also discussed the upcoming Khelo India Winter Games slated to be held in Gulmarg from March 9 to 12. (KNO)
