Baderwah, Apr 17: Asserting that security forces are capable of thwarting any attempts to vitiate peace in Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday said that Pakistan is desperate to keep terrorism alive in the Union Territory.
Addressing a gathering here Lt Governor Manoj Sinha said, “Despite being a failed state, Pakistan is busy sponsoring terror and it continues to make attempts to disturb peace in the region by pushing in terrorists.”
He said, “Our security forces have always foiled the nefarious designs of the enemy and are capable of thwarting all their actions.”
The Lieutenant Governor reiterated that “enemy will not be allowed to plan any misadventure and any such attempt will be given a befitting reply.”
“The security policy in Jammu and Kashmir is very clear— everything will be done to maintain peace and order. Peace is a prerequisite for development,” LG Sinha said.
