BJP holds protest at in Srinagar over Pahalgam killings

Srinagar, Apr 23: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Wednesday staged a protest at its head office in Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar, condemning the recent killings in Pahalgam.
The demonstration was led by senior BJP UT President Sat Sharma and General Secretary Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh (Organisations) Ashok Koul, who expressed deep anguish over the incident and demanded swift justice.
Joining the protest were BJP leaders from various parts of Kashmir, including Ganderbal. Notably, former District President of BJP Ganderbal and senior leaders Mohammad Amin Shah, Shiekh Abdul Rashid , Ruheena Shahzad, Manzoor Ahmad Mir, Sajad Ahmad Wani, Javid Ahmad Dar, Fayaz Ahmad Dar, Adil Ahmad Mir, Constituency President Kangan Junaid Ahmad Khatana, Constituency president Ganderbal Syed Ali Asgar and Waseem Raja participated in the protest, alongside several party workers and supporters.
Sat Sharma added that the BJP will continue to raise its voice against terrorism and support every effort to restore peace in Jammu and Kashmir
Speaking to the media, Ashok Koul stated, “The killings in Pahalgam are not just an attack on individuals but on peace and stability in the region. We stand united in condemning such barbaric acts.”
The protest remained peaceful and concluded with a pledge to continue working for communal harmony and the welfare of the people in the Union Territory.
