Srinagar, May 5: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and other senior officers on Monday resumed the office at Civil Secretariat, Srinagar.
The office at the Civil Secretariat started working here after a gap of six months.
The Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in a post on X, emphasized that his government’s priority over the next six months would be “action, accountability, and ensuring that every individual benefits from good governance and development.”
He urged officers to adopt a results-driven approach and said the government would redouble efforts to address public grievances and push forward developmental initiatives across the Valley.
Chairing a high-level meeting at the Civil Secretariat Srinagar to mark the resumption of the annual office shift to the summer capital, Abdullah emphasized that governance should not remain confined to administrative buildings but be felt tangibly on the ground. (KNO)
