Srinagar, May 26: A lady, hailing from Noorbagh area of Srinagar, died after receiving an electric shock while washing clothes at her residence on Monday, officials said.
An official said that a woman from Pamposh area of Noorbagh Srinagar was injured while washing clothes when she accidentally received an electric shock.
He said she sustained injuries and was immediately rushed to SMHS Hospital for treatment.
However, her condition was critical, and she later succumbed to her injuries.
She was identified as Fazi Banoo, wife of Abdul Ahad Kumar, a resident of Pamposh Colony, Palpora Noorbagh, while police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KNO)
