Dy CM inspects construction work on transit accommodation at Machbawan, Martand

Anantnag, May 27: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, Tuesday visited Machbawan and Martand in Mattan to inspect the construction work on transit accommodation being raised for the Kashmiri Migrant employees under PM package.
The Deputy Chief Minister, after attending the Cabinet Ministers’ meeting, conducted field inspection of transit accommodation being created for the Kashmiri Migrant employees.
During the inspection, the Dy CM was informed that out of 15 blocks at Machbawan and Martand, 10 blocks have been completed while 5 blocks are under progress with over 70 percent target achieved under the project.
Highlighting the importance of timely completion of the project, the Dy CM emphasised on ensuring quality compliance for creation of reliable housing infrastructure.
“It should be our prime concern to ensure expeditious completion of the ongoing projects so that the purpose behind such vital works is met in letter and spirit,” maintained the Dy CM.
Choudhary directed for timely completion and strict monitoring of the progress of under construction blocks.
The Dy CM directed the executing agency to complete the work on the approach road to the transit accommodation and boundary wall, simultaneously.
