Katra, Jun 10: Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Chief Minister, on Tuesday said connectivity is crucial for sustainable development. He added that the Vande Bharat train is all set to boost both tourism and regional connectivity.
Talking to reporters here, Wani said that the train services recently flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not only give a boost to tourism, but also enhance the connectivity as well.
“The connectivity is pivotal for sustainable development. Thus, the train services will prove fruitful to the people here. Those who were not able to afford the airfare could heave a sigh of relief now,” he said.
The CM’s Advisor, along with minister Satish Sharma and others, accompanied the National Conference (NC) president Dr Farooq Abdullah while travelling in the Vande Bharat train on Tuesday. (KNO)
