DC Shopian visits Tehsil office Keller, inspects land records

Shopian, Jul 2: Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Shishir Gupta Wednesday visited Keller tehsil of the district and held inspections of land revenue records.
The DC conducted in-depth inspections of Roz Namcha ( daily record of events and transactions of Patwari), Girdawari( record of land revenue collection), Jamabandi (record of land ownership and rights), Parat Patwar ( record of land transactions and mutations) and Parat Sarkar (government record of land holdings).
After conducting analysis of records, he directed concerned officers and officials to properly maintain these records and emphasised on its regular and timely updation.
DC instructed that Mutation camps be organised regularly and directed Tehsildar for village wise organisation of camps across the Tehsil for improving land record management, reducing disputes, and enhancing transparency.
Afterwards, the DC also met local applicants and listened to their issues. He directed Tehsildar for prompt resolution of same
ADC, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz, ACR, Shakoor Ahmad Dar, DIO, Showkat Hussain Ganie and Tehsildar Keller, Latafat Hussain Shawl were also present.
