Gilgit-Baltistan, J&K, Ladakh integral parts of India: MEA

Srinagar, Aug 5: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh launched a scathing attack on National Conference leaders Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, accusing them of echoing Pakistan’s stance and undermining India’s national interests.
Chugh said the trio’s “cross-border sympathies” were evident in their statements, questioning whether they were “ambassadors of Pakistan in India.”
He warned that the Gupkar Alliance and Congress were once again attempting to “set Jammu and Kashmir on fire” through their politics of appeasement and misinformation.
He hailed the abrogation of Article 370, saying it had ushered in a new era of development in J&K. “From the Jammu-Srinagar rail link to booming tourism, J&K is progressing under PM Modi’s vision. But the Abdullahs and Gandhis can’t digest this transformation,” he remarked.
Responding to Farooq Abdullah’s statement that militancy would end only with improved India-Pakistan relations, Chugh said, “India’s security doesn’t rely on Pakistan’s goodwill but on the strong political will of Modi’s government — evident in surgical strikes, Balakot air strike, and Operation Sindoor.”
He also took a dig at Rahul Gandhi for not acknowledging India’s recent counter-terror ops. “Why do INDI alliance leaders feel pain whenever Pakistan suffers?” he questioned.
Criticizing the NC-Congress-backed J&K government, Chugh said, “They have a full cabinet but zero performance. Not one manifesto promise fulfilled. They blame the LG while actual power lies with the elected ministers.”
He called the current dispensation “inactive, uninspired, and directionless,” and accused it of engaging in “political tourism and hollow slogans” rather than governance.
In a sharp warning, Chugh said, “The Abdullahs, Muftis, and Gandhis must choose — are they with India or its enemies?” (KINS)
