Baramulla, Sep 26: As part of the ongoing Sewa Parv celebrations, the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa Friday handed over 50 sanction letters under Mission Yuva at DC Office Meeting Hall, Baramulla.
The event was held in the presence of General Manager J&K Bank, Narjay Gupta, Assistant Director Employment Baramulla, and other senior bank officials of the district.
It is pertinent to mention that under Mission YUVA, around 3000 applications have been received in Baramulla, providing aspiring entrepreneurs an opportunity to establish income-generating units and promoting self-employment in the district.
On the occasion, the DC directed banks to increase the disbursement of cases under Mission YUVA, ensuring timely financial support to aspiring entrepreneurs. He emphasized that Mission Yuva is playing a pivotal role in nurturing entrepreneurship, creating livelihood opportunities, and strengthening the spirit of self-reliance among the youth.
