Srinagar, Sep 27: Continuing its decisive action against drug trafficking and in line with its zero-tolerance policy towards narcotics Police in Anantnag attached property belonging to a drug peddler under Section 68-F(1) of the NDPS Act.
The attached property, located at Chowgam Uttersoo, belongs to Bashir Ahmad Mantoo son of Mohammad Jamal Mantoo resident of Chowgam attached in Case FIR No. 64/2022 U/S 8/20-15 NDPS Act of P/S Uttersoo. The details of the attached assets include Doble-storey residential house, Cowshed and vehicle (Sumo) bearing registration number JK03D-0475 having an estimated market value of Rs 20,00000/-.
The attachment order has been submitted to the competent authority for confirmation as per legal procedure. Police remains committed to dismantling the drug menace and taking strict action against those involved in its trade.
