Nowshera, Oct 2: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary Thursday laid the foundation stones for three vital bridge projects aimed at strengthening road connectivity in the Nowshera area.
He laid the foundation stone for the construction of a 50-meter span motorable bridge with footpath over Androoth Nallah at Village Androoth under NABARD, with an estimated cost of Rs. 292 lakh.
He also laid the foundation stone for the 28-meter span motorable bridge at Rattan Galla Kalsian, including approaches, with an estimated cost of Rs. 284 lakh.
Another major project for which the foundation was laid is a 50-meter span motorable bridge with footpath over Androoth Nallah at Village Androoth, with an estimated cost of Rs. 400 lakh.
During his visit, the Deputy Chief Minister also held a Public Darbar at Kalsian, where he interacted with the people and listened to their issues and demands. The Deputy CM redressed several grievances on the spot.
The general public expressed gratitude to the Deputy Chief Minister for sanctioning and laying the foundation of these important bridges, which will greatly benefit the local population by improving connectivity and easing transportation.
