Rajouri, Oct 13: The administration of Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri has installed a state-of-the-art AI based full body screening machine at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Manjakote.
The inauguration ceremony of the health screening machine was graced by MLA Muzaffar Iqbal Khan, Principal GMC Rajouri, and other senior doctors. The installation of this machine is expected to greatly benefit the local population by providing them with access to advanced diagnostic facilities at their doorstep.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Muzaffar Iqbal Khan expressed his satisfaction over the administration’s efforts to upgrade healthcare services in the area. He highlighted the importance of having such facilities in rural areas, where access to quality healthcare is often limited. “This health screening machine will play a crucial role in early detection and prevention of diseases, thereby improving the overall health and well-being of our community,” he said.
Muzaffar Iqbal Khan said that he had promised the people of Thanamandi and Darhal constituencies to install health screening machines at the PHCs in both areas. “I am committed to ensuring that our healthcare facilities are upgraded to meet the needs of our community. I have directed the Principal of GMC Rajouri to install health screening machines at PHCs in Thanamandi and Darhal immediately. If the machines are not installed, I am willing to fund it from my personal resources,” he said.
The Principal of GMC Rajouri praised the MLA for his relentless efforts in bringing about improvements in the healthcare sector of the region. He assured that the college would continue to work towards providing quality healthcare services to the people.
The AI based full body screening machine will enable the PHC to conduct various tests and screenings, including those for diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic diseases. This will not only improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients but also reduce the need for referrals to distant hospitals.
The MLA’s commitment to improving healthcare services in the region has been widely appreciated by the local population. The installation of the health screening machine at Manjakote PHC is seen as a significant step towards achieving this goal.
The ceremony was attended by prominent citizens, local leaders, and healthcare professionals, who appreciated the efforts of the MLA and the administration in upgrading the healthcare facilities in the area.
With the installation of the health screening machine, the PHC Manjakote is now better equipped to provide quality healthcare services to the local population. The MLA’s efforts are expected to have a positive impact on the health and well-being of the people of Manjakote and surrounding areas.
