Srinagar, Oct 16: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday said the provincial holiday on account of ‘Urs Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Sahib’ in Kashmir Province shall now be observed on October 20 (Monday) instead of October 18 (Saturday).
According to an order, “In partial modification of Government Order No. 2193-JK(GAD) of 2024 dated: 29.12.2024, it is hereby ordered that the provincial holiday (Kashmir Province only) on account of “Urs Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Sahib” shall now be observed on 20.10.2025 (Monday) instead of 18.10.2025 (Saturday).” (KNO)
