Anantnag, Oct 8: The Police and security forces on Friday detected and defused an Improvised Explosive Device in Achabal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag on, officials said here.
An official said that the IED was found on the roadside near a stone quarry in Achabal, following which Traffic was temporarily halted along the Kokernag-Achabal road.
He said that later, a bomb disposal squad reached to the spot and defused the IED and traffic was restored on Kokernag-Achabal road.
