Erect sign boards

The traffic norms have been set by the government and a huge amount as fine is being recovered from the violators on almost every day. The traffic norms have been set to reduce the number of mishaps and ensure that every commuter and pedestrians reaches home safely. But, one fails to understand why the signs board that plays a pivotal role to indicate the drivers much ahead are missing. These sign boards are helpful in reducing the number of mishaps especially at the educational institutions, hospitals and other places. The Kashmir Valley not only lacks the sign boards but the zebra crossing as well as the speed breakers too are not painted, thus has resulted in many mishaps so far. There are people who question the lackadaisical attitude of the concerned authorities. In outside Kashmir, almost all speed breakers are painted while the sign boards too have been erected at maximum places to ensure the mishaps will not take place and the precious lives are saved. However, the lack of sign boards and other related things are paving way from mishaps here at a time when the number of accidents are increasing at pace. Therefore, the government should take steps in this regard and direct the concerned authorities to erect sign boards at necessary places and also ensure the zebra crossing as well as the speed breakers are painted at every place so that the people especially commuters could heave a sigh of relief. To reduce the number of mishaps, erecting sign boards and painting the vital junctures is a pivotal and basic method, which needs to be considered at an earliest.
