2 of family die, 2 injured in Bhaderwah road mishap

Doda, Mar 13: A husband and wife died and their two children were injured after the car they were travelling in met with a road accident near Basti Pul Nalthi on the Bhaderwah–Bani road, this morning.
Four members of the same family were travelling in the vehicle at the time of the mishap.
The deceased have been identified as Zulfiqar Ali (47) son of Abdul Latief, resident of Lawang Bani and his wife Rehana Begum (42). Their two sons, Kamran and Arish sustained injuries in the accident. The injured were immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital Bhaderwah for treatment and were later shifted to government medical college Hospital Doda. As per doctors, the victims sustained multiple injuries but are stable and are presently under observation.
The District Administration Doda promptly ensured that the injured persons received immediate medical attention and all required treatment.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh telephonically spoke with Deputy Commissioner Krishan Lal and directed the district administration to ensure proper care of the injured and extend all possible assistance.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner visited the Government Medical College here to enquire about the condition of the injured.
The hospital authorities briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the condition of the injured and the treatment being provided to them at the hospital. He directed the Chief Medical Officer and attending doctors to ensure the best possible medical treatment and proper care for the injured.
Interacting with the injured and their attendants, he wished them a speedy recovery and assured all necessary support from the district administration.
