Srinagar, Oct 12: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders along with municipal corporators, panchs and sarpanchs on Tuesday held a protest rally in Lal chowk against the inadequate accommodation provided to them by the government.
The protesters which include BJP leaders Altaf Thakur, Manzoor Bhat and many others while talking to media said that the administration has taken away the accommodation of party leaders, elected members from 14 different hotels by stopping the supply of electricity, water and food from the last three days.
“Administration has de- hired 14 hotels. What kind of hooliganism is this by the administration. We demand safe and secure accommodation at the earliest,” Thakur said.
