New Delhi, Apr 22: Vice President CP Radhakrishnan on Wednesday paid tributes to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack on its first anniversary, saying the country remains firm in its resolve to combat terrorism in all its forms.
In a post on X, the Vice President said, “I solemnly remember the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.”
He said the loss of innocent lives in the “gruesome and dastardly act” continues to be deeply felt and remains etched in collective memory.
“The innocent lives lost in that gruesome and dastardly act of terror remain etched in our collective memory. I pay heartfelt tributes to those we lost and stand in solidarity with their families, whose grief is immeasurable. They will forever be remembered,” he said.
Radhakrishnan said such acts of violence cannot weaken the nation’s resolve to uphold peace, unity and humanitarian values.
“Such acts of brutality can never shake our resolve to uphold peace, unity, and the enduring values of humanity,” he said.
He further reiterated India’s commitment to counter terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. (KNS)
