Srinagar, May 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday hailed the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (Bharatiya Janata Party) decisive victory in the 2026 West Bengal Assembly Elections 2026, calling it a triumph of “people’s power” and good governance.
The Prime Minister said, “The Lotus blooms in West Bengal! These elections will be remembered forever. People’s power has prevailed and BJP’s politics of good governance has triumphed.”
Expressing gratitude to the voters, Modi said he bows to every citizen of the state for placing their trust in the party. He described the mandate as “spectacular” and assured that the BJP government would work tirelessly to meet the expectations of the people.
“We will do everything possible to fulfil the dreams and aspirations of the people of West Bengal. Our government will ensure opportunity and dignity to all sections of society,” he added. (KINS)
