J&K Bank set to resume recruitment after 5-year gap, notification likely soon

Srinagar, Jun 11: J&K Bank has been awarded the ‘Excellence in Continuous Professional Development’ Award by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) in recognition of its efforts towards employee training, skill development and professional growth.
The award was received by the bank’s Deputy General Manager and Mumbai Zonal Head, Farhan Irfan Kawoosa, at a function organised by the IIBF in Mumbai.
In a statement, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Amitava Chatterjee said the recognition reflected the bank’s commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence.
He said the award was a result of the collective efforts of the bank’s employees and underscored the importance of ongoing professional development in a rapidly evolving banking environment.
Chatterjee said the bank would continue investing in its workforce to strengthen customer service, promote innovation and support its transformation initiatives.
According to the statement, the award was based on the bank’s participation and performance in various IIBF certification, professional qualification, specialist and leadership development programmes over the past five years.
The bank said the recognition adds to its recent national-level achievements and reflects its focus on learning, digital transformation, customer service and organisational development. (KNS)
