A decade of Digital India

It has been over two years now since the children have not attended their schools in Jammu and Kashmir, thus resulting in huge educational losses to the students, who are presently getting education through the online mode. The students from class 9th have been allowed to join schools after getting vaccinated. However, the continuous closure of schools for the children has pushed the students to the wall. Nonetheless, the government has so far remained tight-lipped over the reopening of the educational institutions for the children, which is adding to the miseries of the students. There are people who are expecting the reopening of the schools as the Covid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir have witnessed a steep decline from the past over one month. It is worth to mention here that Jammu and Kashmir is reporting below 100 cases now from the past some weeks, but one fails to understand why the government has not been able to take any decision with regard to the reopening of the schools. There are people who want the government to take a decision about reopening the schools. The government after the decline in the number of daily Covid cases, should consider reopening of Schools for the all the children across Jammu and Kashmir, so that the further educational losses to the children could be prevented and they would be able to get a quality education, which would help them in competing with the students from outside the Union Territory.
