Kulgam, Nov 4: A teenager scooty rider died after hit by a truck in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
The incident as per police occurred in Kousarbal area of Damhal Hanjipora in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Police said that a truck (JK05E- 5457) hit a scooty (JK18C-3955) rider leaving him injured. The scooty rider was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. He was identified as 17-year old Burhan Rashid Thokar of D H Pora, Kulgam.
Police seized the truck, registered a case and arrested the truck driver Yaseen Hakeem of Zoonimar Srinagar. (KNT)
