Srinagar, Jun 9: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Wednesday reiterated that Verinag Kapran, Dooru Dodhwagan roads must be completed to ensure respite to people living in tribal, far-flung and other adjacent areas to the roads.
JKPCC Chief Ghulam Ahmad Mir slammed the slow work on Verinag Kapran, Dooru Dodhwagan roads surrounded by scores of tribal, far flung and other adjacent areas and expressed serious concern over the problems confronting people due to the delay in completion of these vital roads.
Mir said these important road projects have over stood its timeline, the concerned authorities as well as the executing agency were bound to take effective measure to speed up the work and complete these at an earliest.
The developmental projects started during UPA I UPA II in J&K have come to standstill, Mir regretted and said many vital under construction projects were waiting completion for a long time, they need to be completed without any further loss of time, in the larger interests of people, JKPCC President added.
Mir sought early completion of these (Verinag Kapran, Dooru Dodhwagan Road) road and other similarly situated under construction developmental projects in J&K, on war footing basis.
