The Kashmir issue always remained a hot topic for the leadership of both India and Pakistan with one calling it as its crown and another terming it as its jugular vein.
The situation remained uneasy for years together as the volatile incidents were reported from hot belts of Kashmir in the past several decades, thus leaving many people dead and several others wounded and paralyzed for their whole life.
The guns that continued to roar due to the disputed nature always put a halt on the developmental process, employment generation and also the stability in the ground situation.
Going back to some decades, the developmental process started by the then government was reduced to ashes as at many places, the bridges constructed by the government were set ablaze for unknown reasons.
Dispute could have been resolved through proper channels, but vandalizing the government properties as well as the works resulted in lack of development in the end.
The situation that arose due to the Kashmir dispute has left many children orphaned, who couldn’t even attend their schools then and thus simultaneously pushed them away from the educational institutions.
This situation has brought only misery to the people across the Valley as the frequent shutdown calls by the separatist leaders have only resulted in the economic losses to the people of Kashmir itself.
The separatism backed by Pakistan, always remained on the forefront to add fuel to the situation in Kashmir, which resulted in killings of youngsters, economical, educational losses to the children and much more.
In the past couple of years, Kashmir has witnessed a pace in the developmental works, which is testimony to the facts that had the situation remained calm in Kashmir, the development would have been greatly visible here.
Kashmir is the place, which has the potential to generate employment for the youth, but the situation always played a spoilsport in paving a way or the measures that could have helped in generating employment here.
The Kashmir issue has only caused destruction across Valley. But, some people on the other side are still using their men to use people from this part of the land to keep the fire burning.
At many times, the Jammu and Kashmir police, Army and other security forces after receiving tip-off have swung into action and prevented many youth from picking up arms. The youth while sharing the details have accepted the role of Pakistan based people in pushing them towards joining the militant ranks and also indulge in other related incidents.
The piece of land, Kashmir, should be stopped to be used any further as it will not allow the neighboring country Pakistan to develop, survive within the world community. The interference by Pakistan in one way or the other has been condemned by the world community from time to time while the country has been pushed in the lists of FATF as well for sponsoring militancy in Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan was put on the grey list by the Paris-based Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the global watchdog for money laundering and terror financing in June 2018 and the country has been struggling to come out of it. Such a situation if continues, would not allow it to survive for the longer period, thus it should consider stopping support to the militancy in Jammu and Kashmir to grow and develop without any hindrance and without being in the list of FATF that has deprived many countries to think about bonhomie with the country.
The friendly ties with the neighboring countries are imperative to grow and ensure peace within the country. There is a possibility of devastation all around if Pakistan continues to keep an eye on the piece of land, Kashmir. The devastation, volatile situation can turn into a better bonhomie if the countries stay intact like true friends, which would certainly help in witnessing the developmental growth of Kashmir as well generate the employment avenues.
The betterment lies with the people only and the majority of them want peace. So, the peace must be given a chance to prevail and the people across the Valley, who have got affected in the past several years could also heave a sigh of relief.
