Anantnag administration opens all public paid parks

Srinagar, Jun 22: With Covid SOPS and guidelines at place, the Anantnag administration has opened all public paid parks in the district.
Earlier, the State Executive Committee (SEC) had authorized the concerned Deputy Commissioners of the Union Territory of the Jammu and Kashmir, to take a call on the opening of the public paid parks after taking the assessment of the conditions and after according to due consideration, subject to Covid appropriate measures.
A top official from the district administration, Anantnag said that after the due consideration and assessment of the Covid situation in the district, all the paid public parks in the district have been opened for public use under proper Covid Sops and guidelines.
Director Floriculture said that SEC has authorized the concerned Deputy Commissioners to take a call on the opening of the public paid parks in their respective districts, and in that view district administration Anantnag has opened the public paid parks in the district.
“The department of Floriculture is extending its full support to the district administration Anantnag and our staff is ensuring that people without the face masks are not allowed to go inside the parks. The signage boards are also placed all around the parks educating the visitors of adopting the Covid appropriate behaviour,” he said.
He said, “at every entry point of the parks, the visitors have to go through the thermal screening.”
Tourism sector after being designated as a priority sector for Covid vaccination, the tourism department is ensuring all the stakeholders associated with the industry are inoculated.
