Poonch, Jul 13: Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesday arrested and booked a seasonal teacher for his alleged involvement in sexual assault on a minor girl.
Officials said that an instant case was registered on the complaint of parents of a 10-year-old girl, studying at a seasonal school.
They added that after a formal complaint by parents, police registered a case in IPC 376 and POCSO Act and has arrested the alleged accused while further investigation of the case is going on.
The arrested man is working as a seasonal teacher on contract basis in a mobile school at Dhoks in Loran. (KNO)
