DC Jammu reviews progress of B2V3, Capex Budget works; formulation of ITVD Plan

Jammu, Jul 30: Deputy Commissioner Anshul Garg Friday chaired a meeting of the officers to review the formulation of Integrated Tribal Village Development Plan besides the progress made by RDD under B2V3, District Capex 2021and PMAY-G.
The meeting was informed that there are total 11 villages to be covered under the Tribal Plan, out of which 6 villages fall in Nagrota, two in Satwari and one each in Mathwar, Dansal and Bhalwal.
The meeting was told that education, road connectivity, power supply, housing, drinking water and sanitation, digitization, health and nutrition are some indicators of Integrated Tribal Village Development Plan.
While reviewing the status of B2V3 works, the concerned officials apprised the chair that of 484 total works, 450 are being executed by RDD and 13 by PWD, 15 by PDD and six by PHE.
It was further informed that out of these works 466 have been tendered, 157 have been allotted, 110 have been started and 40 have been completed.
Regarding, the progress made under PMAY-G, the concerned officers informed that in total 5273 beneficiaries were registered for providing the benefit of the housing scheme and 4461 houses have been completed 810 are at different stages of completion.
After detailed deliberations, the Deputy Commissioner impressed upon the senior officers to regularly review the execution of projects and address the bottlenecks, if any, to ensure their timely completion.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed upon the concerned engineers & officers to expedite the pace of work and complete all the under construction projects within the stipulated time frame.
Program Officer ICDS, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Planning Officer, District Panchayat Officer, Executive Engineers of the concerned departments along with BDOs and other officers of the concerned departments were present in the meeting.
