Growing population, growing challenges

The government seems to have let loose the prominent educational institutions to violate the set norms and directions as there has been no adherence to what the administration has been directing with regard to the charging of monthly fee from the parents of the wards enrolled in the different schools. Despite clear-cut directions from the Government that the schools should charge only tuition fee from the parents of the wards enrolled in their schools, there still are several well-known educational institutions that are resorting to violations in this regard while the concerned authorities are acting as mute spectators. It has been learnt that the parents are asked to visit the schools for collecting the assignments where they are being asked to pay the fee other than what the government has ordered. This is an open violation of the government order as such happenings are the clear indication that the educational institutions are doing away with the government norms, thus, simultaneously leaving the poor parents to lurch at large. One fails to understand why there has been no action in this regard and why the government has remained tightlipped so far. The concerned authorities such as the CEOs as well as the Directorate of School Education should act tough against the schools that are resorting to utter violations and are making the parents suffer and at the same time are causing losses to the education of the children. Violations of clear-cut order are unacceptable and demand stern action.
