Srinagar, Aug 30: Jammu and Kashmir Monday witnessed 105 fresh positive cases taking the number of total active cases in the Union Territory to 1,264, however, no death was reported in last 24 hours.
With no more death, the death toll in the UT has stands at 4,407 and 105 fresh positive cases reported on Monday has pushed the tally of positive cases to 325,253.
Of the exact number of 325,253 cases, 202,248 are from Kashmir division and 123,005 from Jammu division.
Officials said that among 105 new cases, 75 belong to Kashmir division while as 30 are from Jammu division, adding that the total number of positive cases in Kashmir division have reached to 202,248 including 199,079 recoveries and 2,241 deaths while as total number of positive cases in Jammu division have reached to 123,005 including 120,503 recoveries and 2,166 deaths.
The officials said that the total number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,264 including 928 from Kashmir division and 336 from Jammu division.
With 117 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 319,582 which is 98.25 percent of the total cases.
“Cases tested positive in J&K include 48 from Srinagar, 04 from Baramulla, 09 from Budgam, 02 from Pulwama, 03 from Kupwara, 00 from Anantnag, 01 from Bandipora, 02 from Ganderbal, 06 from Kulgam and 00 from Shopian in Kashmir division while as 30 from Jammu division include 06 from Jammu, 00 from Udhampur, 01 from Rajouri, 14 from Doda, 00 from Kathua, 00 from Samba, 05 from Kishtwar, 00 from Poonch, 01 from Ramban and 03 from Reasi,” officials disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities on Monday said that no fresh cases of Mucormycosis popularly known as black fungus was reported in the UT and tally reaches to 44.
As per officials figures, 72,375 positive cases including 834 deaths and 71,060 recoveries are from Srinagar, 23,911 including 282 deaths and 23,510 recoveries are from Baramulla, 23,172 including 22,848 recoveries and 206 deaths are from Budgam, 15,335 including 15,099 recoveries and 194 deaths are from Pulwama, 14,239 including 166 deaths and 14,039 recoveries are from Kupwara, 16,450 including 16,219 recoveries and 205 deaths are from Anantnag, 9,628 cases including 9,494 and 101 deaths are from Bandipora, 10,123 including 9,990 recoveries and 78 deaths are from Ganderbal, 11,417 including 11,287 recoveries and 117 deaths are from Kulgam and 5,598 including 5,533 recoveries and 58 deaths are from Shopian.
In Jammu division, 53,016 including 51,781 recoveries and 1,142 deaths are from Jammu district, 11,380 including 11,236 recoveries and 137 deaths are from Udhampur, 11,094 including 10,827 recoveries and 235 deaths are from Rajouri, 7,567 including 7,337 recoveries and 130 deaths are from Doda, 9,286 including 9,124 recoveries and 151 deaths are from Kathua, 7,136 including 7,011 recoveries and 120 deaths are from Samba, 4,780 including 4,678 recoveries and 44 deaths are from Kishtwar, 6,316 including 6,208 recoveries and 97 deaths are from Poonch, 5,988 including 5,917 recoveries and 67 deaths are from Ramban and 6,442 including 6,384 recoveries and 43 deaths are from Reasi.
As per the daily information bulletin 3,215,413 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 7,471 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 1,264 persons are in isolation.
According to the bulletin, 2,743,087 persons have completed the surveillance period and 459,184 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 13,326,639 samples are available. Out of 13,326,639 the number of samples tested negative stands at 13,001,386 while as 325,253 have tested positive, among them 1,264 persons are active, 319,582 persons have recovered and 4,407 persons have died.
