Ramban, Aug 30: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam Monday visited Kunfer village in Chanderkote, where four houses were damaged in a landslide incident which occurred today afternoon.
Additional SP, Ramban, Rajni Sharma, senior Revenue Officers and representatives of Concessionaire Company executing works on NH-44 were present on the occasion.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected the site of the incident and directed Tehsildar to immediately submit the loss assessment report for processing case for relief for the affected family. He assured every possible help from the District Administration for their rehabilitation.
The DC also passed directions for providing immediate relief including tents and other necessary items to them.
He also assured the families that their case for compensation for the damages shall be forwarded to NHAI.
