Anantnag, Sep 1: Suspected militants on Wednesday evening lobbed a grenade on a police party in Sherbagh area of Anantnag town, however, no injuries were reported in the incident, officials said here.
An official said that militants hurled a grenade and fired several rounds towards the police party in Sherbagh.
He said that there were, however, no casualties reported in the incident.
The official said that more reinforcement has been rushed to the spot and area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (KNO)
