Kupwara, Sep 11: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din Saturday convened a meeting of concerned officers to finalize the arrangements, ahead of tour programme of union Minister of State, to the district on September 13 and 14 as public outreach programme.
The meeting discussed threadbare various issues related to the smooth conduct of the tour programme of union minister.
Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner stressed upon officers to ensure foolproof arrangements in their respective areas of activity. He directed Chief Medical Officer to ensure all arrangements including cleanliness and sanitization of the Hospital Premises properly. He also advised concerned Executive Engineers to keep all things intact at inauguration sites.
The Deputy Commissioner asked Principal Government Degree College Kupwara to keep all arrangements in order and ensure that lights and Public Address System, besides cleanliness and other required arrangements are made smoothly.
The Deputy Commissioner in a separate meeting with the Principal Government Degree College Kupwara stressed for holding of special vaccination camps in the college so that 100 percent students could be covered under the vaccination.
Others who attended the meeting include programme Officer, ICDS, Chief Medical Officer, District Information Officer, Nodal Officers and other concerned.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner, along with concerned officers visited all spots of inauguration and personally reviewed the arrangements.
