Srinagar, Oct 21: The security forces on Thursday detected a suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Rafiabad area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Officials said that a suspected IED was detected today morning on NH701 between Chaklu-Tragpura in Rafiabad, Baramulla by the Road Opening Party (ROP) of BSF.
They said that the traffic including Army convoys were halted for safety reasons.
“Bomb Disposal Team from Army camp, Langait reached the spot, which destroyed the IED following which the traffic on highway was resumed,” they said. (KNO)
